Many human beings, in particular women, are always searching for the especial individual and do anything in order to get what they expect. Love is a crazy feeling in which the heart leads the way and sometimes we can consider those in love under a spell. The brain has no saying and common sense is lost against this so-called â€Å"feeling of love.† I will be discussing the play a â€Å"Doll’s house† by Ibsen and in particular the transformation that Nora undergoes throughout the play until she recognizes that she is not in love with Torvald. This play was set in a time were women were dependent on man most of the time and were not able to define themselves. The only duties given to a wife, like Nora, were to be a good House wife, Take care of the children and satisfy Torvald. Hence, the name of the play â€Å" A doll’s house† in which Nora is depicted as a doll from beginning to the point in which she finds the real world that she lives in and deci des to run away. Nora Helmer, a beautiful woman that has dedicated the past years to be the perfect house wife and admirable woman to society. Her life has been filled with good clothes, enough to live with and the good reputation that goes along with being married to a prospective bank manager. Nora’s early years belong next to her father and the pampering and dependency began, she was then passed down to her current husband, Torvald. In the play we are introduced to Kristine, an old friend of Noras and a character that allows us to witness the way Nora speaks about her marriage life and it ultimately shows the dependency of Nora to Torvald. Nora greets Kristine and goes to talk all wonders about her family. Kristine announces that she has neither children nor husband and this to Nora is unbelieva... ...her head that she was nothing but a doll, someone who would do as told and a human being without any independence. This has made her realize she is not in love with Torvald and what she used to call home, is not home anymore. She has to get away and make up her own life, what she wants of it and how she wants to be treated. Indeed, Nora has transformed into a woman of choice and one that can make her own decisions in regards to her life. She has become free from Torvald and his â€Å"perfect life† and realized that maybe they were never in love. Nora becomes aware of the possibility that Torvald was never in love with her but with the idea of being in love with her. She never had a saying in their lives and the children’s life. She had no meaning to her life and she realizes at the end of the play that she needs to educate herself first and then take care of others.

It will include the consequences and disadvantages if you don’t follow this policy, with the benefits of following the policy too. This essay shall also include why teachers in our schools today choose to follow â€Å"the deadline is he deadline† policy. The benefits off following ‘the deadline is the deadline† policy is that when you go up to grade 11 o 12 the teachers will be more strict about this policy, and wouldn’t give you extensions for â€Å"accidently† leaving it at home or â€Å"loosing† your USB. The disadvantages and consequences of the policy â€Å" the deadline is the deadline† are that if you get so used to not completing or handing assignments or work in or time, in the future when you get jobs it would be hard for you to hand it in on time. And if you don’t do the work, you might as well go looking for another job. Another disadvantage is that, by not handing in assignments it can take your grade down. Teachers today in our schools follow the policy â€Å"the deadline is the deadline† because if the teachers didn’t support the policy some students that hadn’t finished or handed it up may use pathetic excuses to get extensions. They also follow the policy as it encourages students to participate in the learning process, it supports students to take responsibility in their learning and it also supports students to develop time management skills. People today agree that â€Å"the deadline is the deadline† policy is a good idea, and I agree. It is a brilliant way to help students develop time management skills and to pass school, which means they would get a better chance of getting in to university or to get a good job. Students make up stupid excuses for not handing it in, which is not g oing to help. The deadline is the deadline and if you have trouble with handing it in on time, doing thirty minutes to an hour a night wouldn’t hurt.

So not everyone can make his/her own choice at same level. Fate and destiny-Questions always arise when one or the other is mentioned. Can we rebel against our own destiny? Can we truly decide the path we want to take in life? These are questions with no definite or final answer. Nevertheless, everything depends on our determination, our strength to defeat the obstacles we meet on our life’s journey. A lot of successful and driven people in many varied fields confess that fate seems to be against them at the launch of their career. Most of them lived completely different lives before they achieved success, and they are proud to remember those times. It was hard, many successful folks say, but nothing could have held them back as they strove to the best. They also admit that they never dared dream they would be so famous or successful. All these facts make us wonder whether an apparently pre-established fate can be modified or completely changed. And if we indeed can change fate, how can we demonstrate what we’re capable of? Could there be a way to modify the data, which composes the abstract book of life, just as easy as correcting something on a computer? And if that holds true, how do we know that there wasn’t a mistake in the first place, and our determination does not do more than merely correct it?
